High Protein Snacks

1. Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

Serves 8

Ingredients

Dough
250g of Self Raising Flour
270g of plain greek yogurt
Add salt, oregano, garlic and onion powder 
Toppings
60g of pizza sauce(tomato paste)
80g of light mozzerella
30g of pepperoni






Nutrition
170 calories 15g of protein per serving

Instructions

STEP 1
 Mix together the self raising flour with the plain Greek yogurt and add all seasonings. 

STEP 2
Knead to form a dough and place on lightly floured surface and roll into a large rectangle shape

STEP 3
Evenly spread the tomato paste, then add the light mozzarella and cut up pepperoni on top

STEP 4
Cut up the dough and roll into eight pieces so it is shaped like a swirl and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 20-25 minutes. 


2. Protein Banana Bread

Ingredients                                                               3 bananas
3 small eggs
2 tablespoons of maple syrup
nutmeg and cinnamon
150 ml of milk
150 g of oat flour (oats blended up)
45g of whey protein - chocolate or vanilla 
1tbsp olive oil 
1.5 tsp of baking powder
100g of chocolate chips 
chopped hazelnut (optional)

179 calories and 10g of Protein per serving

Instructions

STEP 1
Mash 3 bananas and add 3 eggs and the maple syrup to the same bowl with nutmeg and cinnamon. Then whisk in the milk. 

STEP 2
Blend the oats to make it into flour consistency and add to same bowl with the protein powder, olive oil and baking powder. 

STEP 3
Top with the chocolate chips and optional hazelnuts and bake for 35-40 minutes for 180 degrees celsius until skewer comes out clean. Enjoy!
